Imprimatur studio is mostly just one person: Kris Hus.
He has been designing books and other publications for over 17 years. With broad experience in graphic design, he specialises in printed and digital long-form publications.
His work encompasses biographies, monographs, anthologies, academic papers, newspapers, websites, and marketing emails. He designs readable layouts, where the text is given room to breathe and ideas emerge without distractions.
Kris enjoys browsing through typefaces, looking through hundreds of footnotes, designing tables of contents, checking cross-references, and employing ample margins.
He lives in Stockholm but works with clients anywhere.
